Co-founder & Team LeadChristopher Arrey is a final-year Structural Engineering student at ENSTP Yaoundé, Cameroon, passionate about sustainable solutions and affordable housing. His journey includes valuable fellowship experiences with the Local Pathways Fellowship at UN-SDSN Youth and participation in the Unleash Innovation Lab in 2023. As well as internships in quality engineering and on-site project management with BUNS. He is equally committed to empowering his peers through training programs and was nominated for the Cameroon Youth Awards in the Service to the Youths category in 2024.

How do I register for ILID 2025?
What are the dates and location of the event?
ILID 2025 will take place from April 25th-27th and 30th, 2025, in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The exact venue will be confirmed soon and will be communicated.
Is there a fee to attend ILID?
No, ILID 2025 is fully funded. Participation is completely free for all selected attendees, including those in the Innovation Lab and the Summit.
Will the event be conducted in english or other languages?
ILID 2025 will be conducted in both English and French to ensure inclusivity for all participants.
How do I participate in the Innovation Lab and Pitch Contest?
To participate in the Innovation Lab, you must submit an application and be selected as part of the top 45 STEM students (submit here). Selected participants will automatically qualify for the Pitch Contest at the end of the Lab. Application details can be found on our pitch-contest page
How can I become a speaker or panelist at ILID?
If you are an expert in construction, technology, energy, sustainable development, or related fields and would like to contribute as a speaker or panelist, please email us at ilid.event@gmail.com with your profile and proposed topic or fill out this form on our speaker page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
How can my organization become a sponsor or partner?

What happens if the event is cancelled or postponed?
In the unlikely event of cancellation or postponement, registered participants will be notified via email and official communication channels. Any revised dates will be announced promptly.
Will sessions be recorded?
Some key sessions, such as panel discussions and keynote speeches, will be recorded and made available to participants after the event. However, interactive workshops and team activities will not be recorded to maintain engagement.
